The spanish are big on things you can drink aren't they. This marker is beautiful.

Do you know why this fountain is shaped like a scallop shell Morgan? The scallop shell is a symbol of baptism. When Christians were baptised- became a member of the church- they had water poured over them. This water was scooped up in a scallop shell. Did this fountain have water coming out of it?
