Minack Theatre in Cornwall

The Minack Theatre is big and wonderful in all ways. The sea crashes in the background as a nice plus to the stage.

The theatre was carved out of the cliffs by one lady - all by herself. She was still working on it when she was 80.

We were lucky to get some clear weather to see it.

That is amazing! Never seen or heard of it, Morgs, thank you for educating me. And I don't know what the merry maidens were for - but I expect it was for some kind of ancient ceremony, like Stonehenge and Avebury.
